ATR42-300/320 TYPE COURSE

3 week training program designed for the maintenance department.

This ATR42-300/320 Type Course meets the requirements listed by Transport Canada 's CAR 566. Included in this course are system description, operation, component location, troubleshooting, system testing procedures, engine runs, taxing, latest SB/Ads, safety and maintenance practices. Extensive visual aids are used in conjunction with hands-on training.

As Transport Canada licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, with over 15 years experience at the heavy and line maintenance level on ATR type aircraft, our professional instructors have provided this course to customers for the past 10 years. Customers ranging from operators to MROs. With constant student/instructor interaction, full knowledge of the airframe/powerplant is retained thus making post class certified maintenance safe and efficient.


ATR42-300/320 to ATR42-500 and ATR72 Bridging Courses

2 and 3 day training program.

Course pre-requiste: ATR42-300/320 Type Course.

The ATR Bridging courses are designed for engineers approved on the ATR42 however requiring further upgrade to other ATR series aircraft.


ATR42 & ATR72 Familiarization Training Courses (FAA Accepted)

7 day training program.

This familiarization course is designed for the maintenance department requiring basic knowledge of the aircraft airframe/powerplant component location and systems operation along with safety and maintenance practices.


CRJ-100/200 & 700/900 TYPE COURSE

4 week training program designed for the maintenance department.

This Type Course meets the requirements listed by Transport Canada 's CAR 566. Included in this course are system description, operation, component location, troubleshooting, system testing procedures, engine runs, latest SB/Ads, safety and maintenance practices.

Our state of the art presentation is designed to provide the students with a colour visual concept of the aircraft including: graphically designed powerpoint slides, videos, photos… This in conjunction with troubleshooting hand books and excellent training manuals/engine run-up guides provide a detailed explanation/understanding of the aircraft systems. Well exceeding the 5% hands-on criteria provides further understanding of the aircraft systems.

This bridging & familiarization course is designed for the maintenance department requiring basic knowledge of the aircraft airframe/powerplant component location and systems operation along with safety and maintenance practices.


Ground Run Procedures

2 day training program.

This course is designed for the certified engineers required to perform ground/full power runs and taxiing. All system procedures including pre-checks (ie: walk around, line and weekly) are discussed along with safe operation of the aircraft. Each engineer will complete a 3 phase run up procedure. Upon completion, the engineer will have the ability and awareness to successfully accomplish engine runs and taxiing.
